Both glamorous and seedy, the drama is set over 12 years of the troubled actress's life and covers her entrance into the blue movie industry under the supervision of her domineering manager-come-husband played by Peter Sarsgaard. Regularly heralded as the decade that taste forgot, the '70s is championed as stylishly misunderstood and nostalgically sexy.
